Lights, Camera, Action!

Hollywood is coming to Oberlin!  Filming on a movie starring Michael Shannon (who was in Groundhog Day, Vanilla Sky, Pearl Harbor and was nominated for an Oscar in last year's Revolutionary Road) started last week.  Dave's Army Navy is the first location in Oberlin to be filmed, and sites in nearby Grafton, Lagrange, and Elyria will also be used.  (Read an article here.)  The movie takes place in a cute and charming small town...just like Oberlin!

   

On The Road

Like Willie Nelson, five softball players (well, two current softball players and three very recently graduated players) are taking a road trip this summer to places they've never been and seeing things they may never see again.  Follow the adventures of Katie, Kristen, Julia, Kate, and Sophie here.
